This sounds like a strange question to ask about a single, specific antiques show — but it's a genuinely common mix-up, common enough that we ran into it repeatedly while researching this site, and even some visitor-made videos open with a direct correction. Here's the actual landscape.
The real one: Brimfield, Massachusetts
The show this entire site is about is the Brimfield Antique Show (also called the Brimfield Flea Market or Brimfield Antique Flea Market), held in the town of Brimfield, Massachusetts, along Route 20. It runs three times a year — May, July, and September — and is made up of 20+ independently owned fields. This is the one with thousands of dealers, the one that's been running since 1959, and the one every other page on this site is describing.
Mix-up #1: A different event, also called \"Brimfield Antique Show,\" in Sturbridge
There's a separate, unaffiliated event that also uses the "Brimfield Antique Show" name but is actually held in nearby Sturbridge, Massachusetts, including at least one January date. One visitor-made video about this event opens by directly clarifying: it's not to be confused with the Brimfield Flea Market in Brimfield itself. If you searched for a January Brimfield show and found something, there's a real chance this is what you found — not the main triannual show.
Mix-up #2: The \"Traveling Brimfield Antique Show\"
There's also a licensed, much smaller traveling version of the Brimfield name that visits other states — it's been held at a former amusement-park site in North Hudson, NY, in the Adirondacks. One attendee estimated it at roughly 125 vendors total, compared to the thousands at the real Brimfield — a completely different scale of event, even though it borrows the name. The creator who covered it was upfront on camera that she knew it wasn't "the actual Brimfield."
